We take great pride in our breeding program, which is guided by a commitment to ethical practices, responsible breeding standards, and the well-being of our dogs. We carefully select our breeding pairs based on health, temperament, and breed standards, with the goal of producing puppies that are not only beautiful but also loving, intelligent, and well-adjusted.
When you choose a puppy from Blue World Puppies, you can rest assured that you’re getting a healthy and well-cared-for companion. Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment and receive regular veterinary care, vaccinations, and health screenings to ensure their well-being.
Your Yorkie’s life expectancy ranges from 12 to 15 years, with 13.5 being the median. Female Yorkshire Terriers live an average of 1.5 years longer than males. The Yorkie is slightly older than the typical dog in the United States, at 12.5 years old.
Sleep Habits of the Adult Yorkshire Terrier
Adult Yorkies will be very active when awake and will sleep deeply when they allow their bodies to rest. A healthy, active adult Yorkshire Terrier will sleep anywhere from 13 to 18 hours each day, and this includes naps.
However, for toy breed dogs, the age will be some time between 8 and 10 years old. This is the equivalent of 48 to 56 humans years… and one must keep in mind that though this can be put out as a comparison, canines are built differently with (unfortunately) much shorter life spans than humans.
Yorkies live longer than many other dogs because they are generally a healthy breed. And of the common health problems they face, those issues are usually not fatal.
The most common reason for a Yorkshire Terrier vomiting up yellow liquid with or without white foam is that the stomach is too empty. Without any food to serve as cushioning, and with a buildup of bile ready to digest food that it is not receiving, this can accumulate and be vomited out.
